My metaphor : The world of internet is like a maze.


Summary of my research:

There are a few impact of drug abuse on youth such as physical risk, pyschological risk, behavioral changes, poor school performance as well as addiction. Young people use drugs for social acceptance because they are suffering and need to escape from their own lives. Whatever the reason, the consequences of drug use are the same. Certain factors put some youths at a higher risk for becoming seriously involved with drugs. The greater the number of drug threats a child is exposed to, the higher the chance the child will abuse drugs. Some factors that might lead to youth drug abuse are due to family history, parenting style, peer pressure and academic attitude. There are actually many ways to prevent youth drug abuse which should begin at home with parents and even older siblings. With open communication, honesty and planning it is possible to keep young people from ever starting drug use.
