Practical 6

In today's lesson, I have learned to use the invisible search engine to search for relevant information regarding my topic. After using the databases to search for information, i personally felt that using the invisibe databases is quite effective compare to some meta search engines because i will be able to obtain other kind of information such as in the form of academic journals, magazine or newspaper. However, the weakness of it may be because the information may be some how irrelevant and not specific enough unlike the information found by search engines such as google or yahoo.

If possible, i may use the invisible web(databases) to research in my wn respective diplomas because i would not want to limit my research findings only to the information found in those typical search engines, e.g. yahoo.
With the help from these databases, i believe that i can search for more information.

During this practical, i have also learned that by collaborating information with the others on the wiki could actually allows me to understand what are views of the others regarding the same topic. Also, i will be able to see other people's findings and thus, could gain more information as well.
