In today's lesson, we've learned about some search strategy that can be applied when we research for our selected topics. Through today's lesson, I have also learned more about the advantages and disadvantages of google and google scholar. Seriously speaking, I was impressed by google's search function or features. This is because through the comparision of google and google scholar, I have noticed how much effective it is to use google as a search engine to research for my topic. It is definitely faster, more relevant, easier to use, simpler than google scholar.

Participating in discussion forum is definitely helpful for my research becasue I could get to see how people response to the regarding issue. This makes me understand more about the topic I am researching on hence, I will be able to produce a more relevant and accurate results of my research. I am slightly nervous in talking to others whom I do not know in the discussion forum. For example, when I post a question on the forum, I am not sure how would people response to my questions or whether will they reply or not.

The purpose of us to do citation or bibliography because inadequate citations contributes to plagiarism, therfore to avoid plagiarism, we have to do citation and bibliography. Also in a way to acknowledge the source of information.
